It is getting pretty busy as planting finally begins in many areas for many crops. Our salesmen spend this time of year traveling around the country visiting with our many dealers and their growers. This week our newest salesmen, Andy Mack, will be joining our veteran salesmen, Dave Snider, and heading to Montana to visit with a new dealer in that area, Frank Davis. Wheat and Potatoes are the main crops they will be working with; planting should begin in a couple of weeks. Then the guys will be stopping in Burley to work with another new dealer, Corey Smith. They are currently in planting mode with sugar beets, potatoes, and grains. A dealer out of eastern Idaho, Robb Orr is working primarily with seed potatoes. The guys are going to try to get by to see how things are going in his territory. Steve Ostrander another current Ag Concepts Salesmen many of you may know, will be working in Washington this week. He is planning to visit a couple of our dealers in that area, Efrain Alvarez and Jeff Bruce. Onions and potatoes are going in now and in some areas spring wheat. After leaving Washington, Steve will make a loop through Oregon. Lonnie Saltz, our salesmen in the Midwest region will be working in Yuma, Colorado with one of our dealers, Jamy Akins. Potatoes are the only crop getting planted currently in the area. Sugar beets will be planted next, starting around the middle of April if the weather permits.
