Conditions in the PNW

Well we are finally getting some summer-like weather; it might get up to 86 degrees today. Bring on the BTUs and let’s get these crops growing. We have had a wet spring and when it’s not raining it is blowing. Growers are finally able to finish spraying their grain out here and they are getting in the last of their dry eatable beans (pinks, pintos, and reds). In my travels it seems to be pretty much the same story across the Pacific North West. The one bright spot of having it be cool and somewhat wet is the small grains have stooled out or put on a bunch more tillers, and if all goes right this should make for some good yields on this year’s dry land wheat crop. Then all we need is the price to go up, wouldn’t that be amazing? One other thing to think about for you guys who have corn or small grains that have been setting in water and in an anaerobic condition, a good shot of Enhance with its micros and N-P-K will give it that needed boost to kick it in gear and start going to work for you again. With that I will say goodbye until the next time.
